Ronald W. Hillock M.D.

Ronald W. Hillock, MD graduated from the University of California, Riverside. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda California. After medical school he then completed an internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Following internship Dr. Hillock was then assigned to the US Army Hospital in Heidelberg Germany. His Orthopedic Surgery Training was completed at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and Texas Tech Health Sciences University. Additionally, Dr. Hillock has completed a fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles in Musculoskeletal Oncology. He is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

After residency Dr. Hillock served as the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery of the US Army Hospital in Heidelberg Germany. He also served as the Chief of Surgery for the 67th Combat Support Hospital during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Since leaving the military Dr. Hillock was a member of the faculty of Loma Linda University School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery. He has now joined the Desert Orthopedic Center to bring Orthopedic Oncology care to Nevada.

The goal of Dr. Hillock's team is to seek a timely diagnosis while maintaining a caring and compassionate relationship with patients and their families. The care of patients with cancer requires collaboration with many specialties. Dr Hillock's team will make sure that your treatment team is coordinated for maximum patient benefit.
