“ I went to see Dr Bassewitz because spinal stenosis in my neck resulting in nerve tingling in my right arm. He and his physician's assistant, Edmund, took time to run through the test results with me and the MRI and explained what the problem was and even though he is a spine surgeon he did not immediately recommend surgery. He had me do physical therapy for two months and a month of mechanical traction which helped a little but did not solve/stop the nerve tingling. They recommended I come back if the symptoms become intolerable. Both Dr. Bassewitz and Edmond are easy to talk with and made me comfortable with their handling of my issues. I highly recommend both of them to anyone requiring their specialization. ”

He spent the time with me to explain my shoulder issue, what his plan was to correct the problem, and even called me himself the day following surgery to see how I was doing. “Dr. Miao is the best doctor! He is absolutely the most caring and thorough person. He explained everything he needed to do, was going to do and did it. My surgery went just wonderfully. Actually this was the second body part, for lack of a better term that he has had to repair for me. Hopefully I won't need his services again but if I do he will be the doctor for the job. His office staff and surgical team are wonderful as well. I was treated very good in the surgery room and they made me feel at ease. Tiffany, his assistant is a brilliant person with a wonderful demeanor that is a plus also.”
