My Comeback Story: Deborah S.

I couldn’t hardly walk when I got to his office. I had such severe sciatic pain! I had been shuffled around by other doctors - so thankful I found Dr Bassewitz & Desert Orthopaedic Center. He saw immediately that my MRI was misread! My sciatic nerve was being crushed (l-4 & L-5). His staff worked their schedule - got my surgery scheduled quickly! Operation successful, and I’m 8 weeks out now and feel great. I’m back in my kayak, still being mindful of safety in how I move and bend and twist—you have to at my age. But I’m an active senior—I’ve got my life back!! Thank you so much to your whole team & Spring Valley Hospital was top also!
