In a word excellent. This was my first surgery ever. I had no idea what to expect. The hospital staff where I had the surgery was great, friendly and listened to my concerns. The surgery took about 2 hours, a little longer than expected due to a longer implant needed. Recovery in hospital was fine and I was sent home later in the same day as surgery. I was given pain medication to take but not once did I feel the slightest pain so never took it. I followed the recovery instructions and ambulatory exercise. I was walking fairly normally within a month and after about 6to7 weeks was doing aerobic activity like hiking as in the photo. The surgeon and all involved did an excellent job and I have no after effects whatever. I am able to pursue normal sports activities. On a scale of 1 to 10 this experience was a 10. Thank you all.
