My Comeback Story: Richard C.

I was having lots of trouble walking, even with a cane. Dr. Russ Nevins said I needed a replacement to get better. He explained the procedure and told me what to expect. I had the replacement in March 2023. I was walking with the walker in a few hours. By the end of the week, I was off the walker and using a cane. He had told me that PT was very important and I followed the regime completely. In May, my wife and I went on a cruise and, although still using a cane, I was able to enjoy it. By June, the cane was gone and I was walking better than I had in years. Three years later, I'm still doing my exercises every morning, I walk my dogs 1 1/2 miles every morning, ride my bicycle, and do all the things I was able to do years ago.
