83rd Annual Meeting of Western Orthopaedic Association Featured Presentations by Dr. Parminder Kang and Dr. Russell Nevins

Fellowship-trained reconstruction specialists Parminder S. Kang, M.D., and Russell T. Nevins, M.D., recently gave presentations at Western Orthopaedic Association’s 83rd Annual Meeting held in Monterey, California, July 31 to August 3.

This year’s Annual Meeting focused on a variety of orthopaedic topics, including sports medicine, orthopaedic trauma, and hip and knee arthroplasty, and featured original research as well as presentations on orthopaedic techniques and surgeries.

Dr. Kang and Dr. Nevins were two of three doctors who presented during the hip and knee symposium, which Dr. Kang also moderated. Dr. Kang’s presentation talked about the management of peri-prosthetic fractures of the femur, and Dr. Nevins’ focused on the prevention of and approach to the painful knee after arthroplasty.
