Dr. Daniel Lee’s research was published by renowned, peer-reviewed orthopaedic journal

Daniel D. Lee, M.D., fellowship-trained spine surgeon at Desert Orthopaedic Center, has been published in the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research, a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, and open access journal discussing the latest orthopaedic clinical and research studies.

His co-written article covers clinical findings from patient outcomes after lumbar fusion surgery. Traditionally, lumbar fusion surgery can require bone grafting from the patient’s hip bone, or an iliac crest autograft; Dr. Lee’s study compares outcomes from the two alternatives to autograft.
